Our hotel is located in Thierbach, one of the four villages of the valley Wildschönau. Our little village has a very special charm, especially in winter. Away from the hustle and bustle, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the snow-covered landscape. Our region is very popular with winter sports enthusiasts. The entrance to the ski area "Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau" can be reached in 10 minutes by ski bus. For non-skiers, our high valley offers winter hiking, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, ski touring and snowshoeing. A winter holiday in the Wildschönau has something for everyone!

SKI TOURS

Once you've reached the top, you can't get enough. Views of the surrounding mountains - all this can be experienced on a ski tour here in the Wildschönau in Tyrol.

Winter wonderland Thierbach

The most idyllic village in the Wildschönau!

The smallest and most idyllic village in the Wildschönau and the highest village in the Kitzbühel Alps is Thierbach at 1,150 metres above sea level. It lies hidden away. The village consists of a church with an onion tower, a few traditional farms, a few inns and a primary school with just nine pupils. Here, where fox and hare say good night to each other, there is a tranquillity that exudes a special magic. This, together with its 160 inhabitants, is the charm of Thierbach. One of the most beautiful winter walks leads around the Thierbacher Kogl (forest family path).

The valley Wildschönau offers around 40 kilometres of cross-country skiing fun in a fantastic natural setting. Follow the beautiful valley trail, the Schönanger high trail or enjoy the winter magic on the trail in Bernau  in Auffach!
