Wildschönau is approximately 100 km south of Munich, halfway between the Bavarian border and the alpine city of Innsbruck and is accessible via the Munich-Rosenheim-Kufstein Motorway. Take the Wörgl Ost (east) exit and carry on into the town centre, where you turn left at the second set of traffic lights– here you will also see a green signpost telling "Hochtal Wildschönau".
The nearest airport is Innsbruck, which is 70 km from Wörgl and can be easily reached by train.
